    • Please I need a starter solenoid for an old unit . Do I need a continues duty , and please recomend one that will work, thanks. Hope you have it in stock.

    • what is the GPM of this pump
    • Being a DC unit, the GPM will decrease as the pressure increases, so it has a performance curve. The pump displacement is 0.057 cubic in/rev, if that helps your calculations.
  • From Kurt at 3/6/14 5:36 PM
    • DC electric hydraulic units are probably not going to work well in a log splitter application because the flow is much much lower. This would make a very slow splitter.
  • From Brian at 4/3/14 1:08 PM
    • I see the pump displacement for this pump is 0.057 cubic in/rev. Is that the fastest pump available? Which pump performs better? The Bucher or the MTE line of pumps?
    • Larger pumps may be available, but maximum pressure will be reduced proportionally.

We can honestly say that both brands are fantastic. Both have extremely few failures. It a choice of which you prefer, mostly.
